Save Jewish archives

During the Holocaust, a group of writers and scholars in the Vilna ghetto were tasked by the Nazis with sorting through the city's Jewish archives. They knew that much of the books, manuscripts, and artworks - a testament to the rich Jewish culture of the region - would be destroyed. So they secretly worked to save it for posterity, even at the risk of their own lives.
